I was commenting on another supposed GIANT internet marketing
“guru” apparently acting in a less than stellar way. But, I had
just read ABOUT it - I hadn't been able to find all the facts.

Last time I checked there were 4 pages on the subject. The page
links are in the lower left corner of the page.
Seems I've spent the past few months hitting the wall. I do
this from time to time - usually just before I make big changes.
This time, I actually think it's over-due.
iCop is well into its ninth year. It's been successful in that
it's well-branded and well-known. We have an impeccable
reputation and are highly respected in the field.
But, iCop is also a failure. The goal was to upgrade the level
of internet marketing to something above pond scum. But, in
these 8+ years, we've changed nothing.
It's been like running in quicksand - just too much mud pulling
you down. But, the good news is: iCop is much disliked by the
many gurus who don't want to live in the light.
The first part of this may not sound like good news. The USA
isn't “close to” a recession - we are IN a recession. I won't
write all the depressing facts to back this up - I'm sure you're
already aware.
People are cutting back on spending. This can affect online
business.
But, let's think about this. Online business is NOT only about
the USA. Our customers come from all over the world. So, it's
a mistake to give up and pack it in just because folks in the
USA slow their spending.
If you're an iCop member, my recent epiphany is going to benefit
you in a HUGE WAY. Your membership is about to become more
valuable than any of us ever realized it could be.
If you are NOT an iCop member, but are just thinking about
joining, now would be the time to do that. Why? Membership
costs are going to go WAY UP soon. The smart thing to do is
join BEFORE the coming changes so you can be grandfathered in
without a cost increase.
If you're an iCop member thinking about dropping out to cut
costs - DON'T. You'll soon regret it, and it will cost you much
more to get back in when the new iCop program is launched. Sit
tight and keep your lower membership fees!
If you are simply an online consumer - and plan to stay that way
- stay tuned. iCop's new program will benefit YOU in ways
you've needed for a LONG time!
I have to admit, this new phase of iCop is the first thing
that's excited me in about four years! Not only is it going to
be productive - not only is it going to make iCop members more
money - it's going to be FUN for us all!
That's all I can tell you about it - for now. Normally, I
probably wouldn't have mentioned it until we were ready to
launch.
But, financial stirrings are SO depressing, these days, I wanted
you to know - if you're involved with iCop, you DO have positive
things coming your way soon!
I received an email from an iCop member last week that showed me
I have been unclear about something.
I've been saying I'm going to move iCop away from the “internet
marketing” crowd. He thought this meant I was going to throw
out all members who deal in information products.
This is not the case. Our CURRENT members can continue with
whatever products they have. However, NEW people will find
themselves jumping through hoops before we accept them as iCop
members at all!
But, our new program will allow me to put iCop members WAY above
any questionable internet marketing techniques. We'll simply be
a higher class of business.
We'll move on and leave those people to wallow in their stuff on
the Warrior Forum!
The Trade Journal may be a bit shorter in length over the next
couple of months. At least until we're closer to launching our
new program.
I'll keep you posted on things you need to know. Maybe just a
little less of it for the time being. There will be PLENTY to
write about, soon!
